The aim of the seminar is to closely examine the challenges and opportunities for women on the labour market and in politics. The seminar will have two panel discussions where politicians, researchers and representatives of different NGOs will share their views on women at the workplace, women’s participation in politics and the best practises across EU member states.
ALDE will use this seminar to promote awareness of gender equality and the challenges women are facing in modern society. The hearing will seek practical solutions and share best practices. The event will also be important for strengthening contacts among different actors working on gender equality.
