Typhoon still effects the nation with rain _ 082418

Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. Typhoon Soulik crossed the Korean peninsula and as it continues to drift northeasterly,... it's expected to weaken into a low-pressure front.
As of 4 PM, most typhoon alerts were lifted,... but the east coast is still under a strong wind alert.
The influenced of the storm will linger through the evening.
So, most of the northern areas including Seoul will receive between 5 and 40 millimeters of rain while northeast Gangwon-do Province will see up to 120 millimeters until tonight.
Saturday afternoon will be brighter for most places. The central region is expected to be partly cloudy at times while Jeju will be gray after a light rain in the morning. Beijing and Tokyo will be cloudy with higher daytime highs.
The nation's morning lows will start at 22 and 25 degrees Celsius,... Seoul beginning at 23 degrees.
The daytime highs have dropped after the storm effect. Seoul topping 30,... while Gwangju and Jeju are expected to mark under 30 degrees.
This weekend, Korean will finally enjoy going outside and breath some fresh air, but there will be some light rain on Sunday in the southern region.
