Survivors of Kerala’s worst floods in a century struggle to restart their normal lives as water recedes.

Residents have begun returning to their homes and are engaged in cleaning operations. Kerala is facing a loss of Rs 19,512 crore due to the floods. Chief minister Vijayan has said 13.43 lakh people were still in 3,314 relief camps across the state. The Kerala government announced adequate anti-venom drugs for all the affected places. Experts say it will take at least a decade for the State to recover from the massive devastation.
