103 members of Congress have filed an amicus brief in support of Mozilla et al.'s challenge to the FCC's network neutrality rollback. Many of those congress members are also opposing the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh. His Supreme Court nomination is opposed because of his views on FCC net neutrality regulation. Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) is spearheading net neutrality efforts, reports B&C. Markey said that if Kavanaugh is approved, his extreme views on net neutrality could go mainstream.
