KARACHI: As Karachiites kept longing for rain throughout monsoon season, fortunately, on Friday they were welcomed into the day with drizzle in early morning followed by light rainfall.
The drizzling turned the weather of the metropolis pleasant. As per the Met office, the weather will remain cloudy and the port city will receive drizzle with intervals for next 24 hours.
The minimum recorded temperature in the morning was 27 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature in the day is expected to go up to 32 degrees in Karachi.
Due to slippery roads, a number of people suffered from skidding in their vehicles in the morning.
Rain is also expected in Malakand, Hazara divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mirpur Khas in Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan region, however, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country.
