Climbing films are very much in the news at the minute with the Jimmy Chin, Conrad Anker and Renan Ozturk film 'Meru' set to premiere this week. Another film set to feature climbing and due for release next month is far more of a Hollywood affair. 'Everest' is set to recreate the events of the 1996 disaster on the mountain in which twelve climbers lost their lives. With the conflicting accounts and controversy surrounding the events of 1996 this was obviously going to be a difficult subject to bring to the screen and sadly from the trailer, things aren't looking great for a positive outcome. Still, we'll keep our fingers crossed that the film itself is a fitting chronicle of the 1996 disaster. Until then however, we've got a few things to say about the trailer...
