As a huge fan of Rogerio Ceni, Éverson wears the number ’01’ as a tribute to the former São Paulo legend.

The win took Ceará into 18th place in the Brasileirão on 23 points, just one point behind Vasco in the race to stay in the Brazilian top-flight.
In his first interview after the goal, the goalkeeper commented on his effort. “I waited a lot for this moment. I tried to concentrate.
“I had to wait for more than a minute until I hit the ball. Thank God I hit it perfectly and was able to give my team the lead,” he said in a half-time interview with Premiere FC.
Ceará’s doubled their advantage in the 57th minute as Danilo Avelar slammed the ball into his own net.
