Good morning. The southern provinces and Jeju Island had a rainy start to the day. Rain clouds are gradually moving out from the Korean peninsula.
Soon most parts can expect to see some sunshine. Central regions will also see sunnier skies with highs in the mid to upper twenties.
And this round of showers brought down the morning lows to below twenty degrees Celsius...we'll have breezier mornings from now on. So if you are planning a weekend getaway, beware of big fluctuations in temperatures and dress accordingly.
Let's check on this afternoon's highs, readings will be a couple of notches lower than yesterday, there's some nice weather this afternoon... getting up to 27 degrees in most parts of the country.
We can say autumn is here when the daily highs drop to below 25 degrees Celsius but it's very likely we'll have afternoons that feel like late summer for another week or so.
