A Chinese woman gave birth in the back of a taxi as the driver rushed to get to hospital.
The CCTV video, captured in Xi’an City in northern Shaanxi Province on September 17, shows a man leaving the vehicle before it stops completely, and he rushes into the hospital.
Several nurses run towards the taxi to carry a new-born baby from the car to hospital. They put the mum on a stretcher to take her inside too.
According to reports, the taxi driver parked on a double yellow line to pick up the pregnant woman, who was accompanied by her husband and had been about to give birth during rush hour.
However, the woman, of course, could not wait and gave birth in the taxi.
Thanks to the taxi driver, the new-born baby and the woman were both treated in time and ended up in a stable condition.
