Jimothy Lacoste doesn't take himself too seriously. The 18-year-old artist makes subtle, sincere music that is both peculiar and enthralling. In the documentary Life is Getting Quite Exciting, he takes The FADER through a very specific and meticulous routine centered around health and preparedness. He splashes his face seven times, rinses in a cold shower in the morning, drinks four pints of water a day, and fasts for 24 hours on Tuesdays.

"It felt quite nice to know that people could see a part of my life, and see a bit more personality as well," Lacoste said of making the documentary with The FADER. "It was really amazing and I had lots of fun."

The documentary follows Lacoste through his life in North London, where his sincerity and oddities combined to deliver a compelling view into his as a viral musician. He shares more about his work, his relationship with his mother, the highs and lows of performing, and what his relationships with his friends mean to him.
