The National Weather Service said on September 25 that the Waccamaw River may not crest in Conway, South Carolina, until early Thursday, but they lowered their prediction by a few inches.The river is now expected to stop short of 22 feet, but still four feet higher than the record set in 2016.Conway officials flew a drone over the downtown area Tuesday afternoon to get a look at the water levels, capturing this video in the process.
