Brockhampton's 'Iridescence' Debuts at No. 1 on 'Billboard' 200

'Iridescence,' the 14-member group's fourth album, was released on Sep. 21 on Question Everything/RCA Records. The album launched with 101,000 equivalent album units — 79,000 in
album sales — according to Nielsen Music. The group, which describes itself
as a "boy band," released three
previous albums with EMPIRE Recordings. 'Iridescence' is the first
album released with RCA
since signing a $15 million deal in March. Though the group has yet to land
a song on any 'Billboard' chart or
be fully picked up by the radio, their catalog generated 540 million
on-demand streams through Sep. 20. 'Iridescence' is the 13th
most-streamed album of the week
on the current 'Billboard 200' chart. Drake's 'Scorpion' is No. 1
for the week with 81 million streams.
