Search efforts are underway in Palu following a 7.5-magnitude earthquake and tsunami that hit the Indonesian island of Sulawesi on Friday, September 28.

About 50 people were believed to have been in the eight-story building when the disaster struck. Only three people have been pulled out alive, and nine bodies recovered.
The current death toll stands at past 1,500, and authorities expect the number to rise as rescue efforts continue on.
