Toilet paper doesn’t have a heart… but Weibo users say their Xiaomi fitness bands are displaying a heart rate when wrapped around a roll of toilet paper. We decided to check it out on our own -- and found out it’s true! But Xiaomi’s band is not the only one doing it: The Apple Watch and an Android Wear smartwatch record heartbeats on objects like bananas and mugs too.
