Swedish meatballs
Ingredients for the meatballs:
600 grams ground beef
1 potato
½ onion
½ teaspoon salt
¼ de teaspoon black ground pepper
2 Tablespoons cream
1 egg
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoon olive oil
Ingredients for the sauce:
1 cup strawberries
5 tablespoons sugar
1 lime

Preparation: 30 minutes
Serves: 4 pax

Preparation:
Peal and grate the potato. Grate the onion.
To prepare the meatballs; put the ground beef in a bowl and add the grated potato, grated onion, salt, pepper, cream, egg, nutmeg and bread crumbs. Mix with your hands to integrate.
With clean and wet hands, form little balls with the meat mixture.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the meatballs, cook until they look golden brown on all sides.
To prepare the sauce; put the strawberries in a bowl and mash. Put the mashed strawberries with the sugar in a pot and cook at medium heat, stirring frequently until you obtain aa thick mixture, add 10 drops of lime, mix and set aside.
Serve the meatballs with the strawberry sauce.
