Government chief whip ‘extremely confident’ on Brexit deal

The government’s chief whip says he was “extremely confident” that Theresa May will bring back a Brexit deal “in the interest of the UK” that will be voted through parliament. Speaking outside Downing Street shortly after a cabinet meeting Julian Smith MP insisted the prime minister is doing a “phenomenal job” and ministers are “united” behind her. Report by Blairm.
