Ingredients:
For the base:
½ cup Warm water
1 tbsp Sugar
1 ½ tsp Dry active yeast
1 ½ cup All Purpose Flour/Maida
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Garlic powder
Milk for greasing
For the topping:
½ cup Tomato ketchup
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
1-2 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Garlic powder
½ cup Cottage Cheese/Paneer
½ cup Mixed vegetable (capsicum, onion, etc)
½ cup Cheese (Mozzarella + cheddar) for sprinkling
Method:
Take warm water in a bowl and add sugar to it. Mix until sugar dissolves and then add yeast and mix properly. Keep aside for 15 mins to activate the yeast.
In another bowl, sift flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and mix well to form a soft ball.
Add oil and knead it into a dough. Cover the dough and let it rise for 45-60 mins.
Punch back the air from the risen-up dough and knead again for 1-2 min.
Roll out the dough into a round shape.
Place the rolled-out base on baking tray and apply milk on top. Proof for another 15-20 mins.
Preheat the oven at 200°C for 10 mins.
In a bowl, mix ketchup and chilli powder.
Pierce the base with fork. Spread the ketchup mix, sprinkle grated cheese, add the cottage cheese/paneer, add veggies, sprinkle oregano on top. Bake for 20-30 mins or until the cheese starts bubbling and browning.
