Internet freedom around the world has declined in 2018, in which China’s efforts to export its digital surveillance standards play a certain part, according to a watchdog Freedom House's latest 'Freedom on the Net report'. In addition to its own sophisticated internet censorship framework, referred to as the “Great Firewall,” China has begun training other countries on how to impose its model as well.
