'Single-Use' Is 2018's Word of the Year As the world becomes more conscious of plastic pollution, the term "single-use" has gained exposure. The Collins dictionary has named 'single-use' as the most iconic word of the year. Images of plastic pollution have inspired many consumers to make
eco-friendly choices. More people are saying no to single-use disposable plastic products like grocery bags and water bottles. Reusable bags and water bottles are more
