How to surf the Green Goblin from Spider-Man through the air, that would be cool. Franky Zapata of Zapata Racing published a video, in which he does exactly the same with the new Flyboard Air. But is the video really real? There are doubts.

One knows the hoverboards with which one can get on the water, driven by the high pressure of a water jet, into the air.

According to a new Zapata Racing video, this is now possible without the water jet. In the video you can see Franky Zapata try the flyboard Air. He starts on a platform and then hovers up to 3 kilometers above a lake. The speed of the Flyboard Air should be around 150 km / h. The "Independent Propulsion Unit", which lifts the board in the air, is supposed to keep the pilot in the air for about 10 minutes.

It all looks very spectacular, but raises a few questions. Is the video really real? You can see Franky Zapata neither really start, nor really land. In addition, it sometimes seems that some of the attitudes are about a drone on which a figure is stuck. The control of such an aircraft, which is to be steered 3 km above ground at a speed of 150 km / h, is certainly anything but safe.
Zapata Raching explained that everything you can see in the video is really real. To the "proof" one published a second video, this time also shows a landing and a little more the impression as if it was genuine. It was also said that the flight was made over water, to avoid serious injuries, it would come to a fall. There are also slight doubts about this video.

The Fly Air from Zapata Racing is also apparently not to be a product that anyone can buy. Rather, it is used only for marketing purposes. If it really is true, you might soon feel like the Green Goblin from Spider-Man on events where the flyboard is used.
