Cat tries desperately to catch fish stuck in frozen pond

A bemused cat tried desperately to catch a fish stuck in a frozen pond in northern China.

The hilarious moment, filmed in Shenyang City in Liaoning Province on Tuesday, shows the cat trying to snatch the fish over a clear frozen pond and slipping up comically in the attempt.

Not giving up, the cat jumps, struggles and slips rolling on the icy pond, but still could not crack it.
