Learn how to make Healthy Beetroot Carrot Soup at home with Chef Smita Deo on Get Curried.

Ingredients:
1 Large Beetroot, peeled, sliced & boiled
2 Carrots, peeled, sliced & boiled
Water
1 tsp Butter
1/2 tsp Garlic paste
Salt to taste
1 Bay Leaf
Beetroot & Carrot Stock
Black Pepper powder
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Cream

Method of preparation:
In a mixer jar add carrot, beetroot and grind it into nice, fine puree.
Add water, grind it one more time and then strain it.
Heat butter in a vessel, add garlic paste, sate it till the raw smell goes away.
Add bay leaf, puree, vegetable stock, salt, pepper, mix well and give it a good boil.
Switch off the flame and add juice lemon juice.
Garnish it with Cream and our Beetroot Carrot Soup is ready to serve.
