Uttarakhand Tourism Dept plans to Digitise Lineage Records

Uttarakhand government has come up with an innovative tourist package focussing on a person's 'gotra' announcing the Gotra tourism plans, Chief Minister of the state plans to develop places associated with the originators of the gotra. The state government further plans to develop logos for each Gotra so a person can identify with their Gotra in a better manner. The state tourism department has also chalked out a scheme to digitise lineage records that are kept by priests.
