'Crazy Rich Asians' made its theatrical debut in China over the weekend and bombed at the box office. The movie was a major hit in the US and grossed $173 million domestically, but has only made $64 million from international markets. Based on the book of the same name by Kevin Kwan, "Crazy Rich Asians" tells the story of a Chinese-American woman who discovers that her boyfriend is the heir to a wealthy family and one of Asia’s most eligible bachelors.
