Tips For Cleaning Window Screens

When was the last time you gave your window screens a good cleaning? If you have dust or pollen allergies, cleaning the screens will help you breathe easier at home. Here’s the easy way to do it. You don’t need to take the screens off the windows. Leave them in place, and brush with a soft wide paintbrush, to loosen the trapped dust and pollen. Then, use a handheld Dust Buster or vacuum to finish the job. If your window handle is loose and won’t open easily, I like to use Locktyte Gel to tighten it up. As soon as it dries, you can crank it open.
