Marudhu (Geethan) is your typical filmi hero, whose only responsibility is to stalk-love Poorni (Varsha Bollamma), a college student, until she accepts his 'love'. But then, trouble comes in the form of the local big shot (Adesh Bala). This rural romance, which seems to be trying to another Kalavaani, has colourful cinematography by Thirugnanasambandam and some lively songs by Jose Franklin, but the a cliched treatment works against it.
