According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, the Federal Communications Commission voted to open a new review of US media ownership rules and seek input on whether the government should end a prohibition on mergers among the four largest broadcast networks. The FCC reportedly said it could reverse the rule that bars a merger among the 'Big Four' networks, which include Comcast Corp's NBC, Walt Disney Co's ABC, CBS Corp's CBS, and 21st Century Fox's Fox Network.
