When the war started, in Ex-Bosnia and Herzigovina, in the 90's, Novak Djokovic became the top ranked 14-and-under player. He entered the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in 2003, when he was only 18 years old.
By 2006, he won his first ATP tournament, the Dutch Open Tennis. In 2008 he finally gets his first Grand Slam, the Australian Open. He becomes the first Serbian to win one of the 4 Grand Slam's. Novak is doing great but he's not at the maximum of his capacities.

He battled Nadal in a 6-hour match.
