Conservative commentator Ann Coulter on Thursday suggested that Americans misheard President Trump’s 2016 campaign slogan.

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter on Thursday mocked President Trump's 2016 campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again." "Another unfortunate misunderstanding: We thought Trump was saying 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!' but it was 'MAKE AMERICA MEXICAN AGAIN!'" she tweeted. Coulter also included a link to an article about the more than 1,000 migrants who have been released from detention centers in recent days.  She has been quite critical of Trump in recent times and seems particularly troubled by the lack of wall along the US-Mexico border that was central to his campaign.  Coulter recently told the Daily Caller: "Either Trump never intended to build a wall and was scamming voters from the beginning or he hasn't the first idea in how to get it done and no interest in finding out…My prediction is his support will evaporate and Trump will very likely not finish his term and definitely not be elected to a second term."  About a week ago, Coulter posted a link to a Washington Post article about Trump's claims of ongoing wall construction and commented, "Even a Washington Post reporter knows that not 1 inch of Trump's wall has been built. Does Trump think his supporters are dumber than a WaPo reporter?"
