Disney And Verizon FiOS Reach Distribution Deal

According to Broadcastingcable.com on Sunday, Disney and Verizon have reached a new distribution agreement. The deal halts a potential blackout of networks including ESPN on FiOS. It also means FiOS subscribers will get to see upcoming college bowl games and NFL wild-card games on ESPN. The companies said in a statement joint statement Sunday morning, "Verizon and The Walt Disney Company have reached a broad-based distribution agreement. Details will be released in the coming day."
