Meditation is an ancient practice that is believed to be originated in India several thousand years ago. The term “meditate” originates from the Latin word 'meditatum' which means, “to ponder.”
The major benefit of meditation is that it can be practised anywhere in the world and it is free! Meditation allows you to be one with yourself, to relax and refocus. Although at the outset, meditation may seem like a simple task, but in practice it is not the case to be!
Understandably, it is hard to take your thoughts head on, listen to them, accept them for what they are. But, when this wall is surmounted you reap the fruits of self-confidence, self-acceptance, moreover, a better understanding of yourself. In an ever-changing society where things change every second, meditation allows one to pause and reflect.
