In conversation with Man Booker winner Ben Okri at JLF 2019

Man Booker prize winner Ben Okri talks about dream logic, the many levels of reality that he attempts to capture in his writing, and the need for Indian and Nigerian writers to form closer bonds. Okri said that the literature he read growing up didn't capture the level of reality he saw while growing up in Nigeria, which is what he wanted to incorporate into his own work. He said that India and Nigeria have a lot in common in the similarities of their lives. Okri said that India and Nigeria should strengthen their links with each other and help one another move forward.
