$500,000 donation to charity. The NFL recently canceled Maroon 5’s news conference that was set to happen before their halftime performance. This year’s Super Bowl has been heavily criticized with many standing in solidarity with former NFL player Colin Kaepernick. The league announced that they will have a “cross-platform rollout of behind-the-scenes footage and content from each of our halftime performers.” NFL, via statement Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Big Boi will perform at the Super Bowl on February 3.
