Ingredients:
2 tbsp Oil
1/2 cup Onion, puree
1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic & Green Chilli paste
1/2 cup Tomato, puree
1 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
1 tsp Coriander powder, roasted
1 tsp Cumin seed powder
1/2 tsp Kasuri Methi powder
1/4 cup Cashew nuts, soaked
2 tbsp Fresh Cream
3 tbsp Curd
Salt
Chicken stock(if required)
1 tbsp Butter
1 cup Chicken (boiled & shredded)
1 Hard boiled Egg, roughly chopped
Method of preparation:
Heat oil in a vessel, onion puree, saute it on medium flame until the raw flavor goes away.
Add ginger, garlic & green chilli paste, tomato puree, urn the flame on high and allow it to cook for a minute or so.
Add garam masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin seed powder, kasuri methi powder and allow it to cook on medium flame.
In a mixer jar, add cashew nut, fresh cream, curd and grind it into a paste.
Add the cashew paste into the pan.
Add salt, chicken stock and allow it to cook well till the oil starts releasing.
Add butter, give it a quick stir and add shredded chicken.
Give it a good mix and add stock if required.
Allow the chicken to poach in the final mixture for a minute or so.
Add egg, give it a final stir and our Chicken Bharta is ready.
Plate the Chicken Bharta and garnish it with Egg slice.
