Raja Rao is a wealthy landlord who has a huge collection of precious jewels. To protect them from thieves, Raja Rao hides the treasure in a secret place. Bayankar is a notorious dacoit who comes to know about the treasure, so he kidnaps Raja Rao and his wife and tortures them to tell the location of the treasure and Raja Rao gets killed by Bayankar. Raja Rao's son, Krishna comes to know about the death of his father and comes back to India from abroad to find out about his missing mother. Sinha, a police officer, asks Krishna to stay with him for his own safety. Krishna meets Sinha's sister, Shanti and they fall in love with each other. The story takes a drastic turn when Rangadu, a petty thief gets blamed for Bayankar's actions and then decides to help Krishna nab the real culprit, Bayankar. How Krishna saves his mother and how he defeats Bayankar forms the crux of the story.
