Elaborate arrangements are in place at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi for the official launch and show of strength of Arvind Kejriwal's new Aam Aadmi Party.
About 10,000 people have already gathered at the venue.
Kejriwal has called for people willing to work full time with the party to come forward and register as party members. There's also a special incentive for those who make up their minds in time members registering today will be called "founder members".
