Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit led a Mahila Suraksha Samman March from Bal Bhawan to Raj Ghat. The march against atrocities on women has been organised by the Delhi Mahila Ayog. BJP yesterday termed the controversial tweet of Union Minister Shashi as a "needless diversion".
The BJP has slammed Tharoor's suggestion that the name of the Delhi gangrape victim be made public as an ill-timed diversion.
It demanded that the minister should instead focus on passing a stringent anti-rape law.
