MEA edits Krishna's Afghanistan 'neighbour' remark

Government sources have defended External Affairs Minister S M Krishna on his Afghanistan remark. The statement had come as a huge embarrassment to India's position.The ministry put a spin on the remark saying the minister was mentioning the de-facto position while stating that Afghanistan is not India's immediate neighbour.
