The NCP puts Congress on notice on seat sharing for Mumbai civic polls. Nationalist Congress party president and agriculture minister Sharad Pawar has issued a 24 hour ultimatum in the row over the alliance for the crucial Brihanummbai Municipal Corporation polls. The ultimatum has forced Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan to rush to Delhi to hold deliberations with party's high command. NCP wants as many as 65 seats in the 232 member house while the Congress is willing to part with 50 seats.
