India Vs Pakistan Army: Pakistan getting out of control at LoC

Jammu: In yet another ceasefire violations by Pakistan, firing was reported along the Line of Control (LOC) at the Kanachak sector near Jammu on early Sunday morning. Pak targetted two posts of Border and Security Forces (BSF) in which one of its personnel was injured. The injured BSF personnel has been shifted to Jammu Medical college.

The incident took place just a day after when Pakistan fired over 7,000 rounds of heavy ammunition besides mortar shells on Indian posts during the seven-and-a-half-hour firing in Poonch on late Friday night.

After a number of ceasefire violations from Pakistan's side in the recent past, the Indian Army has asked its troops, especially those who are manning the LoC to be extremely vigilant. The soldiers have been told about certain dos and don'ts.

Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said Pakistan should stop violating the ceasefire agreement it has with India along the Line of Control (LoC).

"Whether the ceasefire violation is being done to trigger greater infiltration, (or) to distract attention from the failures of their own administration, I can't say. But it is something we want they (Pakistan) should stop," Omar told reporters here.

Omar said Pakistan should follow the terms of the ceasefire agreed between the two countries in November, 2003.
