Decision 2012: Fifth phase poll in UP today- NewsX

Uttar Pradesh will see the fifth round of assembly elections today in 49 constituencies in 13 districts. 840 candidates are in the fray for a contest in which the stakes are high for the Samajwadi Party. The party is expecting to make huge gains in the Yadav dominant belt of Central U.P. That gave the maximum number of seats to the BSP last time.
