Indian men thrashed Poland 4-2 to storm into the final of the hockey Olympic qualifiers at the Major Dhyanchand Stadium in New Delhi. Sandeep Singh was yet again India's star scoring a brace as India ended Poland's London dreams. Poland struck first to take the lead in the 13th minute. Sandeep converted a penalty corner as he equalized for India in the 25th minute. Both teams went into the break with the scores tied at 1-all. Sarvanjit Singh put India ahead 2-1 after the breather. But Canada fought back to draw level at the expense of a penalty corner, when Sandeep was handed a green card. In Sandeep's absence, Raghunath converted a penalty corner to put India ahead again. The goal also knocked Poland out of the tournament. Sandeep struck the final goal to seal a 4-2 win. India lead the table after bagging all 15 points from their five games and will play France on Sunday for a spot in the London Olympics.
