Gang Rape Case Mumbai: Mumbai gangrape victim was threatened with a beer bottle

Mumbai: The police have detained over 20 persons in a gangrape case of photojournalist who was gangraped by five men in Mumbai.
State Home Minister RR Patil visited Jaslok Hospital to meet the photojournalist.
"The survivor was threatened by five men with a beer bottle if she cried out for help. The male colleague accompanying the woman was tied up and beaten by the accused."
The residents of Mumbai have expressed shock and concern and feel the city is fast losing its tag as a safe place for women.
The police have recorded the statement the victim and her colleague, and sketches of the suspects are also being prepared.
The woman has also managed to provide the names of two of the accused -- Rupesh and Sajid.
Mumbai Police Commissioner Satypal Singh told reporters that the accused tricked the survivor asking if she had permission to shoot in the area.
