Announce Presidential nominee first: CPI(M) to Congress - NewsX

The CPM has demanded that Congress must announce its candidate for the presidential elections first .. And only after that will the CPM decide its stand on the matter... The CPM Polit Bureau met for over 9 hours in New Delhi yesterday to discuss the the feedback from leaders like SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and NCP chief Sharad Pawar.. Earlier NCP leader Sharad Pawar said that in his meeting with Sonia Gandhi... he had insisted on having no names in preference for building a consensus on the presidential candidate first.
