Bihar's politics hottened up on Saturday after minister for animal and fish resources in the Nitish Kumar government Giriraj Singh called slain Ranvir Sena Chief Brahmeshwar Mukhiya a Gandhian. He later told ABP News he stood by his remarks and was ready to face any consequences. Rashtriya Janta Dal Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav cuttingly said that the remark smacked of votebank politics and that the Nitish government was shedding crocodile tears after Mukhiya's murder. He alleged a conspiracy behind the killing and demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
