JDU divided over supporting Kejriwal in Varanasi

Widely perceived to have fared poorly in the first four phases of the Lok Sabha polls, the beleaguered Janata Dal (U) is divided on the issue of lending support to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal in his electoral battle against BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in Varanasi.Senior JD-U leader and spokesperson KC Tyagi had announced the party's support to Kejriwal in Varanasi and said that he along with JD (U) president Sharad Yadav would campaign for Kejriwal on May 5. Tyagi had also said that the decision was taken after discussions between Yadav and Nitish Kumar.
