Delhi: Baby girl found murdered in drain - NewsX

An 18-day-old girl was found murdered in a drain in Ghaziabad, police said on Saturday. The body of Saumya Lodi, daughter of Virendra Lodi, a worker of a Mumbai-based construction firm who worked in Noida, was found in Khoda neighbourhood. Saumya was allegedly kidnapped from her home early on Saturday morning. Her grandmother Shiela Lodi claimed two masked men kidnapped her from their house around 4.30am and hit her while escaping on a bike, police said. Police said the child's grandmother had made suspicious statements.
