Kejriwal's wife rushes to his defence
The Aam Aadmi Party will challenge the Patiala House Court order on its convenor Arvind Kejriwal's arrest after refusing to pay the bail bond in the Nitin Gadkari defamation case if the judge still insists on the bail bond. The case is set to come up for hearing in the Patiala House Court on Friday.
"When the court meets tomorrow, we will argue again that a bail bond is not necessary. If the judge still insists, we will go to a higher court. When the AAP was protesting outside jail there was no Section 144, there was no announcement made and many of our leaders and workers were detained. We will take up these issues with the court," AAP leader Prashant BHushan said.
