Ponty Chadha murder: Two cases against Namdhari in Punjab - NewsX

More trouble is brewing for former Uttarakhand Minority Commission Chairman Sukhdev Singh Namdhari, currently in jail in connection with liquor baron Ponty Chadha's murder. Punjab police have registered a fresh FIR against Namdhari for illegally obtaining a passport and arms licence. A report submitted to the Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, reveals that Namdhari had procured arms licences and passport by offering false addresses and fake identity proofs. The report also revealed that Namdhari had used his influences to get the licences and that he had used those weapons to seize disputed property in Uttarakhand.
