PIL against MIM leader for hate speech

A Hyderabad Court heard a plea against MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi for alleged hate speech. The hearing will continue today. It is almost 10 days since an MIM leader from Hyderabad delivered a flagrantly communal speech. Akbaruddin Owaisi, All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen MLA is a brother of Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, and his speech has gone viral. The speech has been widely condemned for allegedly trying to incite communal passions. The controversial speech was delivered by the 42-year-old politician in Nirmal town of Adilabad on December 24.
